Apple will integrate Google’s Gemini models into its revamped Siri, scheduled for release later in 2026, under a multi-year agreement that deepens the strategic partnership between the two technology giants.
The collaboration strengthens Alphabet’s position in the intensifying AI competition, particularly against OpenAI. Announced on Monday, the agreement represents a significant endorsement of Google’s AI capabilities. While Gemini already underpins much of Samsung’s “Galaxy AI,” the partnership with Apple provides access to an even broader audience, leveraging Apple’s installed base of more than two billion active devices.
